This Is How It Works......

v     We operate an off-site storage facility for the user’s data.  At our facility, an account is maintained for each user.

v     Each account is protected by a password known only to the user.

v     An electronic vault system is set up so that at a preset time, usually late at night, the client’s computer automatically wakes up and prepares its data for backup.  It determines which files have been modified since the last backup, compresses them, and encrypts them for security.

v     When the data is ready, the computer uses its modem or Internet connection to contact our servers and transmit the data.

v     Our servers verify and store the data.  The data is also saved on a second, secure server at a second site. This ensures your backup, even in the event of damage to our building or onsite server.  You can rest assured that your data is safe, because it is stored off-site.
